ONE of the most established golf clubs in Singapore, Sentosa Golf Club was opened by Singapore's then-Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew in 1974. With over 1,500 members, including local and overseas politicians and the who's who of Singapore's high society, Sentosa Golf Club is the golf club of choice for politicians, dignitaries and celebrities alike. Sentosa Golf Club is also home to Asia's biggest National Golf Tournament - the Barclays Singapore Open, some of the world's top players and some of Asia's top golfers grace our fairways. These include last year's Barclays Singapore Open winner Angel Cabrera, Phil Mickelson, two-time winner Adam Scott (2005 and 2006), Vijay Singh, Darren Clarke, Lee Westwood and Thongchai Jaidee.
